i am going to be getting braces really soon. i already had a ortho dentist check them out and my gum is recessed on two of my lower front teeth really bad. i asked the orthodontist if it was going to be ok when i get braces on he said it would be okay because the back of the teeth were healthy...i'am scared that they will fall out from all the pressure of braces and all the movement when i get the braces on. the teeth are not loose but it still worries me, should i get another opinon?

umm....if your that worried about it then Yes you should go get a second opinion..but im sure its nothing to worry about..good luck!
Reply:it definitely wouldn't be a bad idea to get another opinion. however, i'm so jealous i just got my braces off and i miss them :(
Reply:Don't worry I had the same worries and problems when I first got braces. They don't really pull your teeth up they really shift them from side to side. I had braces for a few years and my teeth haven't fallen. Just breathe and stay calm.
