I'm in terrible pain from my wisdom teeth AND from my braces. And I've been trying to wear my rubber bands as often as I can, but I just can't bear the pain.
Do you think they'll pull them all now, or wait till after I get my braces off?
I have braces. My wisdom teeth are coming in. What happens from here?
You can see an oral surgeon, and he/she should have no problems removing your wisdom teeth. Braces do not present a problem here. In fact, once the teeth are out, it may make your orthodontist's job easier. Ask your general dentist or orthodontist for a referral. You don't have to wait for this.
Reply:If you're in so much pain they might pull them now, but i would call the orthodontist if you're in that much pain.
Reply:well, lol. I guess you should ask to have them pulled now, especially if your in so much pain. I just got my braces taken off a few months ago, and I think my wisdom teeth are coming in. I'm going to have them put me to sleep and just cut those suckers out.
Reply:Umm i honestly dont know. I just got my braces off and i am 13 so i dont have my wisdom teeth yet, but i have all the others, and i think you should just call the Braces place you go to and they will know what to do.
Reply:first ofcourse ask your orthodontist,he'll have 2 see some x-rays 2 know if ur wisdoms have a place 2 come out, or if they'll be impacted and in dat case u'll have 2 remove them coz they might affect the stability of ur teeth after gettin off ur braces.
