|You need to brush and floss daily. If you don%26#039;t plaque can cause decalcification. See here:http://www.staggersorthodontics.com/imag...

do you want your nice straight teeth to look like that?
Reply:Simply, the best results will occur when you follow the necessary hygiene under any conditions.
Reply:It%26#039;s always bad to forget to brush your teeth. And with braces, your breath will probably wind up smelling REALLY bad. Be sure to always brush. Couldn%26#039;t hurt to use Listerine, too. It will help wash and kill bacteria in and around the braces.
Reply:Dont trip !!! When you get home brush and floss your teeth!!!

Nuthing will happen!!!
Reply:Iv done that, because they were tightened and it hurt every time i tried brushing so i gave up. but i don%26#039;t think it will be bad. just use teeth whitener that%26#039;s all. and yes it does take a long time to floss do to braces in your mouth.

GREAT LUCK
Reply:Your teeth aren%26#039;t going to fall out or anything after just two days but, I bet your breath was rank! Make sure you start flossing EVERY day, it prevents gum disease and keeps your mouth healthy!!
Reply:You have to look at your teeth and the braces as an investment that you need to care for. If you don%26#039;t care for your teeth properly, you may have white stains on your teeth when the braces come off. These stains are the beginning of cavities, they don%26#039;t polish off and you can%26#039;t bleach them out.

Try Superfloss. It%26#039;s stiff on the ends so that you just have to poke it in between your teeth (no threading it through your wire or using a bridge threader)

You might check into getting a prescription toothpaste with extra fluoride to strengthen your teeth. Control Rx is a good one to use.

Next time, go to the store and buy a toothbrush.
