I just got my four wisdom teeth taken out yesterday. How long is the usual wait before I can go in to get braces?

ask an orthodontist, but probably as soon as your mouth is healed.
Reply:maybe it would be wise to wait just until the holes heal from the teeth being pulled
Reply:You shouldn't have to wait for any reason, unless you have dry socket, but you would know that soon after you got them pulled. Only reason being, is that you will be in a lot of pain. But as far as I know, there are no contraindications to getting braces after wisdom tooth extactions. Besides, you will need an initial orthodontist appointment first, they don't put your braces on at your first visit. By the time you get an appointment to get them on, you'll probably be close to healed.
